Merakey is currently seeking an Employment Support Professional to join our IDD division in our Sunbury location.

As a member of the Merakey Employment Services team, an Employment Support Professional (ESP) promotes the Employment First philosophy throughout Merakey as well as externally and follows the approach of "work to fade." You utilize best practices, technology, and networking in the community to train and assist people in obtaining, maintaining, and advancing in competitive integrated employment by meeting the needs of businesses in the community while ensuring alignment with the individuals' interests. You represent Merakey and serve as an ambassador of Employment First. As an ESP, you are a bridge to help others find their purpose, which involves assessing business needs and pairing them with a person's interests and skills. You empower individuals to find their purpose.

High School Diploma required / Bachelor's degree preferred

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
