Network and Telcomm Administrator

Description:
Sets up, configures, and supports internal and/or external networks. Develops and maintains all systems, applications, security, and network configurations. Troubleshoots network performance issues and maintains the disaster recovery plan. Re-image computers. Recommends upgrades, patches, and new applications and equipment. Provides technical support and guidance to users. Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job. Supports PBX telecommunications system, radios, pagers, and overhead paging. Works under supervision. Rotating after-hours oncall. Typically reports to IT Director.
Qualifications
May require an Associate's degree in area of specialty and 1-2 years of experience in the field or in a related area. Has knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within the particular field.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
