We are recruiting for a Workskills Instructor for our Adult Mental Health Vocational Services in Sunbury, PA. This is a full-time position (40 hr/wk Monday to Friday 8:00AM to 4:30PM) that offers a complete Medical Insurance (medical, prescription, dental & vision coverage) and benefits package including, Paid Time Off (PTO), 401K, Life Insurance, Paid Training, Career Advancement, and more for those who qualify!
The Workskills Instructor is responsible for instructing and assisting individuals at CSGs Sunbury Bakery in developing job skills in preparation for competitive employment. The essential duties and responsibilities for this opportunity include, but are not limited to, the following:
Instructs and monitors individual at designated worksites.
Completes required documentation accurately and in timely fashion.
Participates in daily operations of the program.
Conducts quality control on all products.
Accounts for deliveries.
Orders supplies and monitors inventory.
Communicates with other agencies and employees.
Drives to various worksites.
Provides coverage in emergency situations.
Performs other duties as assigned.
To be considered for this position you must have the following
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency with 1 year of experience in Vocational Rehabilitation; OR 1 year experience in designated area of employment.
Must be able to work flexible hours to meet individuals and programs needs.
Must have a valid drivers license, good driving record, and access to a reliable vehicle to attend trainings, meetings, and/or transport individual to appointments.
Must be able to drive passenger vans and accompany individuals into the community and provide support and assistance in interactions in the community while maintaining sensitivity to the rights and dignity of the individual.
Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
Previous food service with cooking/baking experience is a plus!
