This position is responsible for the pick-up or accepting of the food for the breakfast and lunch-time meals at the Sunbury Children's Center and helping to serve the food and clean up after the meal.
In addition, the Nutrition Operations Assistant will be the main contact person for the facility as it relates to bulk and meal ordering and facilities contact between the Sunbury Head Start program and the school district.

Position has set hours typically no to exceed 29 hours per week.
Education and skills required:
A high school diploma or equivalent General Education Diploma (GED) is required.
Must have an interest in and concern for children and their families.
Must have a willingness to learn.
Basic knowledge of food preparation and practice good sanitary procedures.
Excellent organizational and time management skills to prioritize the task based on project deadlines.
And must be able to type accurately and maintain a high level of productivity.
Must have ability to communicate and work effectively with colleagues, co-workers, community agency personnel, and students/trainees.
Requires the ability to develop and maintain positive and collaborative relationships using tact and diplomacy and to remain calm in unpredictable situations.
